Claire Batchelor was nominated for Best Original Score at Feel The Reel International Film Festival.  She has composed for a huge variety of projects including BBC One’s Gentleman Jack Changed My Life, an arrangement for ITV’s ‘The Masked Singer’, original music for ‘Chateau DIY’ for Phase Music / Channel 4 and  ‘The Wonderful World of Puppies’ for Zinc Media / Channel 5. 

 

Claire was part of BAFTA Crew and the BAFTA Jury in the Original Music Category for 2019, 2020 and 2022, was a judge for the Ivor Novello Awards 2021 – Best Television Soundtrack Category and sits on the IVORS Academy Senate. 

 

Claire’s music has been used in a multitude of international programmes including  BBC News, ITV News, BBC Royal Wedding coverage, This Morning, Lorraine, Good Morning Britain, Horizon, Panorama, MasterChef, Location, Location, Location, Gogglebox, Mary Berry’s Quick Cooking, The Apprentice, Big Brother, Neighbours, Hollyoaks and Coronation Street.  Work for brands and commercials include Google, Disney, McDonald’s, American Express, NatWest, Ribena, Majestic Wine, Curry’s PC World and Sky Movies. 

 

Claire plays guitar, bass, ukulele, mandolin, keyboard, percussion and sings.  She graduated in Music Composition for Professional Media with First Class Honors in 2007.
